We are a
year round community band
founded in 1884, composed of people that enjoy performing in parades
and/or concerts as an amateur activity. The band is based in
Bloomingdale, Passaic County, NJ with membership and performances focused
primarily within a 25 mile radius. We are in our 121st
anniversary season in 2005. |

For Parades, our band has a Color Guard, consisting of kids age eight to eighteen. The Guard is responsible for carrying the Band Banner, United States and New Jersey Flags (with Honor Guard) as well as other flags. This group is run by Debbie Plowman, the Assistant Director of the Color Guard. Dave Plowman and Denyse Todd are her assistants. |
